WHY AM I IN THIS RELATIONSHIP?

 Today’s “ peaches and roses” is very important and salient.  So many people are in relationships that are pointless and  without directions. A relationship needs to be well defined and objective so as to ensure that both parties aren’t enervating themselves in an untenable relationship. 

The goal and objectives of any relationship needs to be highlighted by the couples involved. Are they in the relationship because they want to:

• Catch fun(I don’t encourage this)

• Court and get married in the future

• Help themselves financially 

• Overcome loneliness

• Overcome boredom

• Peer pressure to build a relationship

• Family pressures

• Religious pressures

• Societal pressures

• Advancing Age

• Have kids

• Build a future together

• Start a business together

• They don’t have anyone else who’s Interested In them romantically

• They possess low self esteem and the other partner thinks like them

• They want to experiment different sexual positions (I don’t recommend this because it’s incongruous)

• The other party pressured them to begin a relationship

• The other party is aiding them financially and being  in a relationship with him or her is a way of repaying them

• They’re depressed

• They want to rebel against their parents' rules and regulations

• They don’t to want spite an ex who broke their heart

• They feel they’re matured enough

• The other party is threatening them

• They are securing their financial future

• They seek the balance and equanimity that a good relationship secures

• They want to emulate their idol or role model

Whatever the reason, cogitate hard and deep so as to ensure you aren’t wasting your time or your partner’s time. So many people are living in remorse because of the choices they made as regards their relationship. Thanks and God bless.
